CHN Energy's Regional New Energy Control Center in Xizang has officially gone live, marking a significant milestone in the digital transformation of the region's new energy sector.

The center, recently approved by CHN Energy, is a key component of the Group's "one region, one centralized control" strategy. Developed by CHN Energy Xizang Branch in partnership with China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, the control center utilizes a collaborative "co-location, co-management" approach. By leveraging existing hydropower control room infrastructure, Xizang Branch efficiently established the new centralized system. The center currently integrates two wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 107.5 megawatts (MW) and eight photovoltaic (PV) plants totaling 175 MW, achieving 100% integration of current assets. The system is designed for unmanned operation with minimal staffing, relying on centralized monitoring and intelligent maintenance.

Despite facing challenges such as limited personnel and the complexities of high-altitude commissioning, Xizang Branch successfully completed the project. The control center enables remote monitoring of key equipment across various new energy sites, facilitates operational performance analysis, manages real-time production, and enables intelligent economic dispatch. This innovative approach is transforming the company's production management model.

The launch of this control center provides crucial technological support for the continued growth of new energy in Xizang and establishes a foundation for future projects. As technology advances and the market expands, Xizang's clean energy industry is poised for significant growth, contributing to China's national "dual carbon" goals.

Going forward, Xizang Branch will continue to promote the development of regional control operations in alignment with the Group's unified strategy.
